Getting to Know the Person of Jesus
Saturday, November 14Parish Hall, 10:00 - 11:30am
Please join us as we explore ways we can come to know the person of Jesus by imaginatively contemplating key gospel passages. Using techniques from Ignatian Spirituality, and listening to insightful reflections from the gospels, participants will draw closer to Jesus and experience his love through active involvement in prayer, music, discussion, and contemplation.
This promises to be an informative and engaging time of spiritual enrichment and grace, and we hope you can attend. For more info or to register, visit www.stlukes-parish.org/adult.

St. Luke’s Thanksgiving Program for 2026
It has been a long-standing tradition at St. Luke’s to provide assistance to those in need at Thanksgiving. In the past, we have provided two bags of groceries as well as a grocery card. Typically, we provide for about 135 families, which means that just the grocery cards alone cost over $6,000.
More and more families in our community continue to face financial insecurity. It is our hope that we can ease their burden a bit this Thanksgiving. This year we are collecting essential care items (that are not covered by SNAP,) as well as $50 grocery cards, to better meet the needs of our families.
- Donate a $50 grocery card. (The ones most asked for are for Walmart, Stop & Shop, and Market Basket.)
- Drop off gift cards at St. Luke's Parish Center. (See Office Hours Here)
- Please do not mail gift cards.
- Make a donation in any amount to help defray the cost of the grocery cards, either by check or online by visiting St. Luke's WeShare:
- Checks can be made out to "St. Luke's Outreach." Please write "Thanksgiving" in the memo. Checks can be dropped off or mailed to us at: St. Luke's Outreach, 1 Ruggles St, Westborough, MA 01581.
- Online Giving: Click here to visit WeShare and make a secure donation by choosing "One Time" and in the fund dropdown list, scroll down to choose "Thanksgiving.
Thank you for all the support you have given this program in the past, and we encourage your support again this year!
~ Nan Ford
Parish Outreach Coordinator
Request for Items:
In an effort to provide assistance to the families who sign up for our Thanksgiving Program, we are asking parishioners to help. Instead of bringing food items, please donate essential items that families cannot purchase with a SNAP card.
Such as: Toilet paper - Cleaning supplies
Paper towels - Laundry detergent
Baby wipes - Toothpaste
Diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6)
Please drop off items to the Parish Center on or before November 22. Thank you!
Would You Spend Some Time with JESUS?
Tuesday is our special day for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
Through this special and ancient practice, the Lord bestows His blessings and graces abundantly, allowing the person to know and better understand the mystery of His love.
Through this special and ancient practice, the Lord bestows His blessings and graces abundantly, allowing the person to know and better understand the mystery of His love.
Every hour, a group of adorers is seated in prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, interceding for the needs of our parish and community. Unfortunately, the number of adorers is running low. Would you consider spending more time in contemplation, silence, meditation, and prayer? It could be for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour, or more!
If you want to join this group of St. Luke's adorers, please sign up for one slot in the sign-up sheets in the vestibule of the church; or send an email to Julie Basque at pastoralassociate@stlukes-parish.org.
Thank you and God Bless!
