Welcome to St. Luke’s Parish!
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
With great joy, I welcome you to another new year at St. Luke’s Parish!
First, I would like to extend a special and heartfelt welcome to all of our new parishioners. We are truly blessed that you have chosen to become part of our parish family. St. Luke’s is not simply a place where we come to Mass; it is a community where we walk together, pray together, support one another, and grow in our love for Jesus Christ.
As I look ahead to this new year, I feel a deep sense of excitement and hope. Our parish is growing, and with that growth come new opportunities to serve, to evangelize, to welcome, and to build a stronger community of faith. Each new family, each new ministry, and each person who becomes involved adds something beautiful to the life of our parish.
We also recognize that we begin this year amid many challenges. Life can sometimes feel uncertain, and the situation in our world can bring worry, division, and even fear. Yet as Christians, we are called to be people of hope. We do not know everything that the future will bring, but we know the One who holds the future in His hands.
Jesus reminds us that we are never alone. As the family of St. Luke’s, let us continue to be a place where people encounter Christ, find friendship and encouragement, and discover that there is always a home for them in the Church.
Let us enter this new year with faith in our hearts, hope for the future, and love for one another. May we embrace the challenges before us not with fear, but with the confidence that God is working among us and that He has great things in store for our parish.
Thank you for being part of St. Luke’s Parish. I am grateful for each one of you, new and long-time parishioners. and I look forward with great anticipation to all that we will accomplish—and, more importantly, all that God will accomplish through us—in this coming year.
Welcome home. Welcome to St. Luke’s!
With love and gratitude,
Fr. Diego

St Luke's Parish Center (upstairs in the hall)
This is an important meeting geared toward anyone new to ASP (i.e. not previous volunteers.)
How would you like to spend a week in service for people in need by performing basic home repairs? How would you like to live in community with other volunteers, supporting each other as we work together for the week? How would you like to travel to a beautiful part of our country?
If those things sound interesting to you, perhaps you might be interested in volunteering with the Westborough Appalachia Service Project (ASP.)
If those things sound interesting to you, perhaps you might be interested in volunteering with the Westborough Appalachia Service Project (ASP.)
Please join us! Learn more about Westborough Appalachia Service Project, a youth mission team sponsored by St. Luke's and First United Methodist churches in Westborough. We travel to Central Appalachia every summer in order to provide much-needed home repair for families suffering in conditions of poverty.
Youth in grades 9 and above, plus their families and interested adults, are welcome to come learn more and ask questions about this dynamic and life-changing ministry that gives hope to communities in need. We welcome parents and caring adults to volunteer to help lead the youth during the year and during the project week. No construction experience is required, though it's definitely helpful! We will train our volunteers for the work and raise money for the trip throughout the school year.
Feel free to bring friends and neighbors who might be interested!

Room 23, Parish Center
OCIA Inquiry Sessions start Tue, Sept. 15, then continue weekly Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in Room 23, Parish Center. All are welcome to attend without any obligation or pressure to “become Catholic.” For those who choose, OCIA can provide a path to one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist.)
No need to sign up — just stop by the Parish Center and join us in Room 23.

The mission of the Martha's & Mary's Ministry is to provide compassionate care and support to parish families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. One way we serve is by hosting a luncheon following Funeral Masses, offering family and friends an opportunity to gather together in a warm and welcoming environment.
Our ministry is led by a dedicated team of parishioners, and we are seeking additional volunteers to join us. Whether your gifts include baking, serving, hospitality, setup, cleanup, or helping coordinate luncheon arrangements, we would be grateful for your support.
Beyond serving others, members often find lasting friendships and a spirit of compassion, unity, and quiet joy within our parish community.
